How'd You Do That Workshops

Collective action for the collective good.

A major component of learning is the idea of community. By learning together we are able to achieve so much more than by learning alone.

In the 'How'd You Do That' program workshops, you will get a chance to share your CommTech knowledge with the rest of the class in a 30-minute workshop. You will get a chance to strut your technical stuff!

Tips to Get You Started

Tip #1 - Choose An Interesting Topic

Choose an interesting topic. You're in a class full of creative people. One of them will have an idea that you can use if you get stuck.
Tip #2 - Be Unique

Make sure your topic isn't too simple. If everyone knows how you did it, you don't need to show them! Don't waste everyone's time.
Tip #3 - Have a Good Pace

Don't go too fast. Make sure that everyone is following along so that no one gets lost. It's much easier to make sure everyone is following along than to catch people up.
Tip #4 - Ask Questions

Don't forget to ask for questions at the end and answer them clearly. You're there to teach your classmates so it's important you can answer their questions.
