Post Secondary

Life After CommTech.

When you get to grade 12, you’ve got some big decisions to make about what you want to do after high school. College or university? What degree? And as a CommTech student, there’s another big question: “Can I continue with my skills and interests in CommTech in my post-secondary education?” And the answer is absolutely! There are many programs in both college and university that focus on the aspects of CommTech. On this page, there are a few examples of the college and university programs in Ontario that may suit your interests that you’ve developed in CommTech.

Movie Production.

  • Hands on training with equipment, and technique training
  • Business skills relevant to the film industry
  • Specialties such as 3D Animation, which may have further requirements (such as a portfolio)

  • Sometimes requires a portfolio
