    • Ultimate Checklist Challenge

Quizmaster

Collective action for the collective good.

As a staple of the CommTech course, Kahoots are a chance to flex your knowledge in a fun and engaging quiz, covering a variety of topics!  At the same time, the checklist challenge has also taken many forms in previous CommTech courses through the production of Photoshop magazines, logos, and other productions.  In grade 12, we mash-up the both the Kahoot and the checklist challenge in the community building activity, Quizmaster!  Yes, this year the hosting  is up to you!  But before you host, you'll need to set up your topic, provide some new knowledge, and include some checklist items along the way!

Tips to Get You Started

Tip #1 - Explore Topics That Will Provide Engagement!

While it is important to explore your own interests, this tip does not deny you this opportunity and certainly, there will be opportunities later in the course.  This is simply an early reminder to think of your audience.
Tip #2 - Get Organized!

From your planning sheet to designating your hosting roles for your Quizmaster, make sure you are  organized by employing some solid communication skills.
Tip #3 - Provide Interactivity

Your Quizmaster should be an well-balanced mix of information as well as action.  Be sure to consider how the class can truly engage with your topic through a variety of tasks.
Tip #4 - Be A Model

The enthusiasm and your participation in your own Quizmaster will be contagious!  Be sure to show the class how to get involved in your actions by doing so yourself.
