ISP - One Letter Off

Just when you think you know a movie...

Take a minute to think about some of your favorite movies; action, comedies, animations, horrors. Now take some of those same movies and think about how different they would be if you were to take the one letter in the movie's name and substitute it for another letter.

One Letter Off is the ISP for the the Grade 11 Communications Technology course.  Using Animate, students will create movie credits for their reimagined movie, followed by a movie poster in Photoshop.

Lights, camera, let's get creative!

Tips to Get You Started

Tip #1 - Look for Inspiration

Whether its examples found on this website, on the web, or your own favourite movies, look around to allow your ideas to develop.
Tip #2 - Know Your Story

In order for you to do a good job with your Animate movie trailer, you will have to know a little bit about what your movie is about.  Who are the characters?  What happens to them?  This will help guide your storytelling.
Tip #3 - Divide and Conquer

This goes beyond your storyboards and sketches. This includes coming to class daily with a goal for your production.  What do you want to get done that day? Planning works well when you chunk your productions into smaller steps.
Tip #4 - Show Off!

This is a chance to demonstrate your skills in both Animate and Photoshop.  Make sure your plans honour your skillset in both programs.
